The package holiday include accommodation on board with full board treatment and an entertainment programme, city sightseeing tours and guided visits in all the included destinations and the support of an English-speaking guide for the full visit program.


DAY 1: Arrival in Moscow
Arrive in Moscow, Russias largest city. Upon arrival you will be met and escorted to your cruise ship. [D]

DAY 2: Moscow city sightseeing tour
After breakfast you will have a city tour which will include the Red Square, the views of St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Lenin Mausoleum, Bolshoy Theater, the Olympic Stadium and many other points of interest. [B,L,D]

DAY 3: Visit to the Kremlin grounds and departure from Moscow
Your morning tour takes you to the Kremlin, the former seat of the Russian Government and a unique historical, architectural and artistic reserve. Visit one of the cathedrals situated on the grounds of the Kremlin at Cathedral Square.In the late afternoon, as your river cruise departs Moscow, join your ship’s captain in a welcome dinner with champagne. DAY 4: Uglitch: the Cathedral of Transfiguration and the Church of St. Dimitry on the Blood
Stop today at picturesque Uglich situated on the right bank of the Volga River. Visit the renowned green-domed Cathedral of Transfiguration perched at the water’s edge. Next, visit the Church of St. Dmitry on the Blood, built on the site where Dmitry, the son of Ivan the Terrible, was murdered. [B,L,D]

DAY 5: Yaroslavl: the Church of St. Ilya the Prophet and the Saviour-Transfiguration Monastery
Yaroslavl, an important Volga port is the next port of call. On your city tour, visit the 17th century Church of St. Ilya the Prophet, an incredible structure filled with frescoes and classic Russian architecture and wander the grounds of the 12th century Savior-Transfiguration Monastery, one of the Volga’s oldest. DAY 6: Goritsy: the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery
The ship arrives in Goritsy, set in the beautiful countryside. Tour the grounds of the well-preserved 14th century Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery, named in honor of its founder, the monk Cyril and one of the most honored saints in the Russian Orthodox Church. [B,L,D]

DAY 7: Kizhi Island: the Church of the Transfiguration and the Museum of Wooden Archtecture
This morning sail the ship stops at the tiny island of Kizhi, located at the northern end of Lake Onega. Your visit of the island includes the open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture, housing a collection of restored 18th century Russian wooden buildings, including the breathtaking Church of the Transfiguration that provide a delightful glimpse of Russia’s past. DAY 8: Mandrogi: a living museum of Russian folk culture, food and traditions
Today takes you to the picturesque village of Mandrogi located on the River Svir. A relaxing stop on the Verdant River Bank to enjoy the pleasant scenery and a traditional Russian shashlik (shish kebab) picnic lunch. This evening join your ship’s captain in a farewell dinner with toast as your river sailing ends. [B,L,D]

DAY 9: Arrival in St Petersburg, city sightseeing tour and Saint Peter and Paul Fortress
This morning arrive and go on bus city tour in the great city St. Petersburg with its many palaces, once home to the Russian nobility, drive along Nevsky Prospect, the main boulevard of St. Petersburg lined with shops and baroque buildings. Take a view down Kanal Griboedova to the Church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood. Pass the Gostiny Dvor (the city’s largest department store), the National Library and the monument to Catherine the Great. Visit to Saint Peter and Paul Fortress and to the famous baroque Cathedral designed by Domenico Trezzini, where are buried theTsars and Tsaritsas of the Romanov Dinasty. [B,L,D]

DAY 10: Visit to the Hermitage State Museum and Catherine Palace in Pushkin
Visit at the Hermitage Museum. The rival of the Louvre in Paris, the Hermitage contains three million exhibits and early collections dating back to Catherine I. Visit of Catherine the Great’s Palace, where the world-famous Amber Room is preserved, and walk in the magnificent Palace Park. Catherine’s Palace, a faithful of the Italian rococo style motives in the typical Baroque Elizabethan architecture, was the summer residence of Russian Tsars in the town of Tsarskoye Selo, where Alexander Pushkin spent his youth. DAY 11: Departure from St Petersburg
